Being Concise: Making Every Word Count (Writing Center Workshop) In-Person
This interactive workshop will emphasize using clear and straightforward language in academic writing. Students will learn how to eliminate unnecessary phrases and redundancies in their writing. Students will practice proofreading and revision strategies as well as using active versus passive voice when writing academic papers.
