Rubrics Online

The Rubrics feature allows you to customize grading criteria for any type of assignment in Canvas. They can be used as a reference tool for your students so that they know exactly what is expected of them in an assignment. They can also be used as a grading tool for you as you correct their assignments. Canvas allows you to use them directly to calculate a student’s score, or to write free-form comments in your Rubrics for students. During this session we will explore the use of Rubrics, and you will leave the workshop with a newly created Rubric of your own.
