Classroom Orientation Primary Department: MATH In-Person

The ideal process for each of these sessions is to divide your participants into Group A and Group B. For the first part of the session, Group A is in the classroom and serve as “in-seat” students and each take turns doing a short presentation from the instructor station, while Group B participate via ZOOM. Then, the groups switch roles. We will sanitize the room during group changes. One or two staff will be on hand to familiarize everyone with the updated A/V controls, dual monitors, etc. and to collect your feedback on the experience.

Instructors are encouraged to bring a something to present, either a website or Bb on the classroom computer, a USB drive, or their own laptop. Document camera is available. The primary objective is to understand how one will engage with both in-seat students as well as remote (ZOOM) students).

Classroom session is in UNI 250. Becasue of the physical-distancing capacity restrictions on teh room, please register for ths event.
