An Introduction to Virtual Reality In-Person
The Office of the Provost is pleased to offer an opportunity to explore Virtual Reality (VR) applications in Higher Education with a presentation by Dan Schneider from HP. VR offers exciting possibilities for learning through highly immersive visual experiences, and is being increasingly used across the disciplines to engage students in new ways as well as augment what they already do in the classroom.
This presentation will survey the hardware and software technologies and offer ideas on the range of approaches available for faculty to enrich their curricular offerings.
