Faculty Training: Respondus LockDown Browser Best Practices Online

Note: This session will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. The session will close within 10 minutes if no participants have joined. 

Respondus LockDown Browser is a secure browser application that restricts a user's ability to navigate away from their Canvas quiz, thereby promoting a focused and controlled testing environment within Canvas. 

In this short faculty oriented training, participants will learn best practices for using LockDown Browser, including the following: 

  • Understanding when and how to use LockDown Browser
  • Tips for most effective use
  • Frequently Asked Questions 

Registration Instructions:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from LibCal with an .ics file attachment. Save the .ics. file to add this training to your calendar. The Microsoft Teams link will be embedded into the calendar invitation.
