Engaging in Difficult Conversations with Liza Talusan In-Person
Conversations about identity and inclusion are deeply intertwined with teaching and learning—but they can also be some of the most difficult to facilitate. In this interactive workshop, Dr. Liza Talusan, author of The Identity-Conscious Educator, invites faculty to reflect on how identity informs pedagogy, shapes classroom climate, and impacts student learning. Participants will explore concrete strategies for fostering dialogue, responding to tension, and cultivating inclusive, identity-conscious learning environments.
Please note: this event will be held in AIC 235.
