Workshop - GIS in the Classroom - April 15

A brief introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for use in the classroom and to enhance reports or presentations will be given.  GIS software is available to faculty and students at Bryant and can be used to create interactive or static map products and “Web” application visualizing spatial or locational relationships in a variety of fields and disciplines.  Map products and related applications shared across the “Web” along with an extensive and growing amount of spatially referenced data is now available through a variety of online sources.

This workshop will include an instructional hands-on session using GIS software to create an on-line “Web” map application.  Please BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)
